Stanley Produce was established in 1941 by a father and son Manuel and Stanley Corriea. They saw the growth and potential of the produce industry in San Francisco and set forth to bring the city the finest and freshest produce for years to come. Before the San Francisco Produce Market was built Stanley Produce was located on the 200 block of Front Street. Originally a wholesale mushroom distributor, the company has evolved into one of the first specialty produce companies in the Bay Area. In February 1962, Stanley Produce moved to the San Francisco Wholesale Produce Market, where they currently reside.  

In 1974, at the age of sixteen, Stanley Jr. began working at the market in the early mornings as a driver. During this time, he built relationships with customers and began to learn the business side of the company. These relationships have continued to grow and are the foundation of Stanley Produce today In 2002, after Stanley seniors retirement, Stanley Jr. became the president and owner of the company. Due to the growth of business, the size of our facilities has tripled along with our amazing staff. With the hopes of growing even further  Stanley Jr. and his staff have continued to dedicate their time and effort to the company and its customers. 

Founded in 1941, Stanley Produce Company has more than 80 years of experience distributing a full line of specialty produce to the Bay Area. We specialize in domestic and wild grown mushrooms, California grown Belgian endive, radicchio, and shallots. In addition to providing fresh produce, we have expanded to provide our customers with even more quality products ranging from eggs, tortillas, fresh juices, rice, grains, and more.

Our business has continued to thrive for four generations of the Corriea family. As a family run business, it is our goal to make our customers feel like family and provide them with quality service and the freshest products daily. Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance here at Stanley Produce. Giving back to the San Francisco Bay Area and being able to assist in its expansive growth, is one of the founding ideals this company was based upon.
